We shipped the first batch!

It was an exciting day for us: We shipped the first batch to our Kickstarter backers. We couldn’t be more happy with the quality of this first production run. We were very confident to begin with—after all we had been testing prototypes for the better part of a year—but the production studio on the outskirts of Berlin outdid themselves: These are some truly top-notch clothes.

And we’re not the only ones to think so: The first backers who picked up their pants and had a chance to try them on all were very happy indeed.

As of today, all backer packages are either (depending on each backer’s choice) in the mail or ready for pickup at Cecilia’s studio, or in some cases already at their new owners.

For us, this is a huge milestone. We couldn’t be happier. A big, big thank you to all our Kickstarter backers!

We do have a few spare pairs up for sale in our online shop, but you better hurry!

See the extra fabric down the seam in the middle? This allows to easily let out the pants if needed. It’s a traditional technique to make clothes more adaptable and hence last longer that used to be very common. These days you see it sometimes in men’s suits, but not many other places.

The so-called Dries piece: Should a pair of pants ever get a rip, however that might possibly happen, there’s a bit of spare fabric to patch things up
